GRAPEVINE EPhenological stage: Inflorescences separated, flowers separated.
Mildew:Ver Fotos

As it was expected in the previous phytosanitary warning, weather conditions in the last days (rain and mild temperatures) favoured the apparition of oily spots, already occurring in our monitoring plots. By now, inflorescences are highly sensitive to the disease (although first symptoms have not been reported yet), thus plants must be protected, using systemic or penetrating fungicides so as they would not be washed by the rain (an hour without precipitations must take place so as products would penetrate in the plant).

Oidium:Ver Fotos

Symptoms have not been observed yet. It is not necessary to treat.

Black-Rot: Ver Fotos

Black rot - Detalle de la mancha mostrando PicnidiosIn our monitoring plot in O Condado, we have observed the first leaf with symptoms of the disease, but so far it was only seen in a single plant.

Moths:Ver Fotos

In almost every area, the number of captures of first generation moths has been higher than in previous years. However, no signs of larval activity were observed yet. It is not necessary to treat.

Mites:Ver Fotos

As in previous reports, mite populations were not observed either in our monitoring plots or in the samples submitted to our laboratories. It is not necessary to treat.

Scab:Ver Fotos

Manchas incipientes de moteadoEnvironmental conditions in the last days have favoured the apparition of symptoms of the disease (especially on more sensitive varieties such as Golden or Granny Smith), on the leaf, and also in a few fruits. In case plants have not been previously treated, a fungicide must be applied.

Cydia pomonella:Ver Fotos

In our monitoring plots, captures were lower than in previous weeks, although plants have not been treated. However, they are still in the threshold of tolerance, thus plants must be treated in case they had not been previously subjected to a previous treatment.

Aphids:Ver Fotos

Pulgon ceniciento - Síntomas del ataque de PulgonColonies of the rosy apple and green apple aphids have still been observed on the shoots. In fact, this year aphid populations are been higher than in the past in some crops, thus it is advised to treat in case leaves show the curling symptoms characteristic of the insect attack.

Aphids:Ver Fotos

Colonia de Toxoptera aurantii en brote de limoneroFirst aphid colonies belonging to different species are being observed on shoots of lemon trees, orange trees and tangerine trees, causing leaves to curl. In this case plants must be treated.
